If your a fist time visitors, this site is dictated to covering all information on the next generation of Amiga`s. With the imminent arrival of the Amiga One, Amiga OS 4.X and Amiga DE, the future of Amiga has never looked healthier. All these products need a web site to report on them, and this is just one of them. AmigaNG started way back in Feb 1999 to cover news on the Amiga MCC (later cancelled), it is now one of the longest running next generation site. Its not official, and is not sponsor, but is done out of momentum. Enjoy the site. |

Amiga Translators' Organization was created because for a long time, programmers who wanted translations for their programs would either have to post "Translators wanted"-mails onto newgroups and mailing lists, or they must use translators they knew. This was of course annoying to some users of the mailing lists and newsgroups, it would not give the programmer as many translators as possible, and last, but not least, the programmer didn't have any quality assurance of the translations done by his translators. ATO was then built as being an organized pool of translators. We want to make programmers' lives as easy as possible by offering many translators for a wide range of languages, and still offer the quality assurance. This quality assurance is done through the proofreading concept which you can see here. |

ATO is an abbreviation for the «Amiga Translators' Organization», i.e. an organization to support translation (localization) of Amiga computer programs. We are a non-profit organization; ATO is a union of people from many countries who spend their own time for the benefit of all Amiga users. Where WebLink comes in is the existing Amigas. It provides a complete set of programming tools on top of the existing OS. These tools allow programmers to start getting used to the features of the next-generation operating systems in a more gradual way. It also provides some of the features of next-generation systems, such as more global interoperability, OS-version independance, complete modularity, and a high degree of flexibility. |

What is AMP? AMP Project was started in the year 2000 but gradually grew during several years to what it currently is.
