AMOS TOME IV is the most powerful map editing system on any computer anywhere (TOME Series 3 is the second most powerful). TOME is used to create huge game maps, which you can then use in your AMOS programs to give you huge background areas without using up much memory. |

Apropos of nothing, I decided to set up an Amiga development environment. Since figuring things out wasn't straightforward, I wrote down instructions for Linux about how to compile the first program and run it in an emulator. Enjoy! |

After the ACE BASIC posts of the last months, this one is about a different project I have been working on for the last half year: CL-Amiga, or Clamiga for short. It is a Common Lisp implementation built for the Amiga family -- classic AmigaOS 3 on 68k and MorphOS as a fully native PPC build, AROS and AmigaOS 4 maybe to come -- but it also runs on macOS (I use it as my main Common Lisp impl here where most of the development happens) and Linux. |

Godot2Amiga converts Godot projects into native Commodore Amiga applications. Unlike emulators or compatibility layers, the generated program is ordinary C code built against the ACE runtime and compiled with the Bartman Amiga GCC toolchain. Current target platform: Commodore Amiga 500, Kickstart 1.3 & OCS chipset |
