  ReqTools
Author: Nico François,Magnus Holmgren   Verified: 0000-00-00
Reqtools.library is a standard Amiga shared, runtime library. The purpose of ReqTools is to make it a lot quicker and easier to build standard requesters into your programs. ReqTools is designed with Commodore's style guidelines in mind, all requesters have the look-and-feel of AmigaDOS Release 2. If you use ReqTools in your programs you do not have to worry about requesters too much. You'll have a lot more time to concentrate on the really important stuff your program does.

  Author: Gabriele Greco   Verified: 0000-00-00
This is a porting of the multipurpose multiplatform library SDL (simple direct media layer), created by Sam Lantiga. This library let you create programs that works perfectly on a large range of OSs (Windows 9x/ME/2000/NT, Linux x86/PPC/Alpha, MacOS, xxxBSD, Irix, Solaris, BeOS, AmigaOS...) without any modification! The library is able to handle window/fullscreen video output (using blitter if present, also in the Amiga version), sound (with AHI in the amiga version), keyboard/mouse/joystick events, threads, audio tracks on CDs, endianness and many other things.

  Author: John Ousterhout   Verified: 0000-00-00
Tcl (Tool Command Language) is used by over half a million developers worldwide and has become a critical component in thousands of corporations. It has a simple and programmable syntax and can be either used as a standalone application or embedded in application programs. Best of all, Tcl is open source so it's completely free. Tk is a graphical user interface toolkit that makes it possible to create powerful GUIs incredibly quickly. It proved so popular that it now ships with all distributions of Tcl.

  The Oberon and Amiga Page
  Author: Ralf Degner   Verified: 0000-00-00
What is Oberon? Oberon is both a programming language and an operating system developed by Prof. N. Wirth and J. Gutknecht at the ETH Zurich. The programming language Oberon is an evolution of the well known predecessors Pascal and Modula-2. Oberon features the established principles of separate compilation with strong type checking even across module boundaries. The module concept provides for information hiding. In contrast to Modula-2, the definition modules are not explicit, but generated automatically by a Browser tool. The browser operates on the compiler respresentation of the module interface.

  Tips for Amiga programming
Author: Tips for Amiga programming   Verified: 0000-00-00
I have searched the web for simple programming tips for newcomers on C and Amiga, but haven't found much. So here it is: My very own knowledge database :-) All sources are complete programs and have been succesfully compiled with SAS/C 6.58. Note that unless specified the sources are only tested with WB 3.1 KS 3.1 on a A4000 with a CV64/3D graphic-card. They are not prepared to be started from Workbench. Have you a specific question about C or C on Amiga, don't hesitate to mail me. Note that I only use SAS/C so I can't answer any questions about other compilers.

TTEngine (formerly known as TTRender) is an AmigaOS library (named ttengine.library) for rendering high quality text using TrueType fonts. TTEngine is based on FreeType2 project. It is not a plain straightforward FreeType port however. TTEngine has many additional functionality implemented. Here are key features of TTEngine: Renders strings (not only single glyphs) with kerning. Has string metrics calculation functions. Optional antialiased text on 16 and 24 bit screens. Font database allows for flexible font files storage and classification. Application Programmer Interface highly compatible with graphics.library. And MUCH MORE!!! Site in English and Polish

TUMULT- The Unofficial MUI custom class list
  Author: TUMULT   Verified: 0000-00-00
TUMULT is an acronym for "The unofficial MUI custom class list" and that is exactly the contents of these pages. There are two main purposes for this list. First of all it should make it easier for normal users to find and download needed custom classes and secondly it should provide a quick reference for developers who need a certain custom class. The list will only contain classes which have been registered as described on the registrationpage. This means that the completeness of this list will depend solely on the willingness of all custom class authors. Hopefully you will all support this initiative. Unsupported classes or classes which is no longer being developed might be added to the list without the consent of the author - especially if it is not possible to contact the author.

  ubiqx
  Author: ubiqx   Verified: 0000-00-00
Spare parts for Programmers The goal of the ubiqx project is to develop a set of clean, small, re-usable code modules which implement fundamental constructs and mechanisms, and to make them available under the terms of the GNU Library General Public License (LGPL). These are the little training wheels that keep getting re-invented; the small parts in that drawer in the kitchen. It's those things that are always in your way when you're looking for something else, but are never there when you really need them. Our goal is to be the good neighbor who always seems to have the missing flange-screw or cup of sugar that you need when you're in the middle of a project.

  VersionWB
  Author: Hċkan Parting   Verified: 0000-00-00
VersionWB is a replacement for the usual c:version command, which uses XfdMaster.library if it's available. If you want the version information to be presented in a requester, this program is for you. Instead of like c:version just tell the version and revision number by default, VersionWB always tells you all it could find.
